T1 W3 Writing
Playing Rugby
By Zavier
I heard people crying and screaming like they were dying when they had been hurt.
I felt the force and push when I was being tackled to the ground.
I saw the try line but I was just 2 metres short.
I wondered if we would be able to win against Burnside.
It was on a Saturday when my Dad told me to quickly get ready because we are playing rugby and that we are playing against Burnside I said it was going to be a good game because when we were in div 2 we versed Burnside and it was 1 all. Me and my Dad quickly did everything we needed to do so we were prepared for battle. We jumped into the dark blue car and drove off. It wasn’t long before we got there. We ran like the wind to field 6. Altogether we had 9 people which is 2 short but we are going really well because we were coming forth so far. We quickly warmed up and then the game began! We kicked the ball I ran as fast as I could and made the first tackle I quickly got but then taken to the ground I was just a we bit short. Will picked up the rugby ball and scored the first try. By the end of the game the score was 11 1 to us so we WON!!!
