The Coke Eruption

We had to write a recount about a coke and mentos experiment

Coke Eruption

It was a warm cloudy Monday, Toroa was walking back to class from playing ball rush, when Miss Mccormick yelled “Study and Lab come behind the staff room!” Everyone from the Study and Lab strolled over to where the teachers were. As soon as we were behind the staff room our mouths dropped. We were full of excitement because on the dark blue plastic chair was a bottle full of coke zero and in Miss Thomason’s hand was a whole packet of mint flavored mentos some people screamed because they were that excited everyone as fast as lightning sat down to see the amazing experiment that was about to happen. Miss Thomason had to tell everybody to be quiet because they were talking too much. Eventually it was silent then Miss Thomason said that most of us would have already experienced a coke and mentos experiment Miss Thomason opened the mentos packet and ate one all the kids yelled if they could have some but she said no everyone sighed. Miss Thomason asked how many mentoses we should in the coke some people yelled four and others yelled

This still a working progress
hope you like it please give me some ideas of what to write

Embarrassing Moment

Mr. Beans Embarrassing Moment :

Mr. Bean was driving to the pub with his girlfriend Lily. Once they were at the pub they were slowly walking to the dance floor, suddenly! a crowd forced them to go into a magic show where a man was doing magic tricks he was wearing a black coat and a blue and orange box, some beautiful delightful flowers and a black and white long thin wand he had a lady as his assistant. The magician told the crowd that “I need a volunteer for this trick.” Straight away Lily raised Mr. Bean’s hand and the magician said “Yes you sir what is your name?” “m...m...my name is...Bean.” Replied Mr.Bean in a terribly frightened voice, the magician yelled to the crowd “Give Bean a round of applause!” The crowd sarcastically clapped but Lily was going wild like an ape that had their banana taken from them. Mr.Bean was so nervous that he started to have a seizure but once he saw the big box and the knives he fainted for at least 3 minutes. After those 3 minutes he quickly jumped to his feet and ran off the stage but Lily grabbed Mr.Bean and dragged him to the stage and threw him to the magician. The magician looked scared but had a little giggle because it was funny that he was getting bullied by a girl. Mr.Bean was feeling embarrassed because he was getting pushed around by a girl in front of strangers, the crowd was laughing but they only did that for about 10 seconds because Lily shouted and told them to “BE QUIET!!!” She was going crazy like a mad scientist. Mr.Bean felt embarrassed and may or may not have begin to start feeling sad and started sobbing, the magician and his assistant and the crowd started to giggle and then Mr.Bean ran off the stage but tripped because he forgot about the stairs and then the everyone laughing their hearts out, they were all laughing like they had inhaled The Jokers helium.

Mr.Bean was running away to his car and drove off without waiting Lily because he was so miserable that he didn’t want anyone at all to see his face ever again.

T1 W3 Writing

Playing Rugby

By Zavier

I heard people crying and screaming like they were dying when they had been hurt.

I felt the force and push when I was being tackled to the ground.

I saw the try line but I was just 2 metres short.

I wondered if we would be able to win against Burnside.

It was on a Saturday when my Dad told me to quickly get ready because we are playing rugby and that we are playing against Burnside I said it was going to be a good game because when we were in div 2 we versed Burnside and it was 1 all. Me and my Dad quickly did everything we needed to do so we were prepared for battle. We jumped into the dark blue car and drove off. It wasn’t long before we got there. We ran like the wind to field 6. Altogether we had 9 people which is 2 short but we are going really well because we were coming forth so far. We quickly warmed up and then the game began! We kicked the ball I ran as fast as I could and made the first tackle I quickly got but then taken to the ground I was just a we bit short. Will picked up the rugby ball and scored the first try. By the end of the game the score was 11 1 to us so we WON!!!
